An important step in developing imagination is to allow ourselves to be creative.

How are you creative?

Do you spend time with creative people?

Do you play, laugh and use humor to enhance your life?

Do you just let your mind wander?

We all have imagination:)

Imagination is an amazing thing. I see the products of truly creative people’s imaginations and would love to spend a minute in their minds. Everywhere you look you see things that started as something just imagined. Yet from imagination, people have created great paintings, funny movies, ornate buildings, crazy fashions and simple things we use everyday.

What a boring world we would live in without imagination and creativity! Look at Steve Jobs for example. His vision and creativity is what has made Apple what it is today. He never let anyone tell him his ideas were ridiculous or unrealistic. He surrounded himself with people who had vision and imaginations like himself. From that vision amazing things happened. We can all do that in our everyday lives. It is so great to start a project of any kind and watch what can happen with just a little creativity and imagination. I think more importantly is to never let anyone tell you that something cannot be done. With hard work and a creative outlook you can do amazing things!

Creativity and Visualization go hand in hand. One can not be creative if he/ she can’t visualize. I believe in going beyond the ordinary and make things happen the way I want. Creative people are all around us and we live our life with the inspiration we get from them. Great buildings, music, latest technology, and all the new innovative ideas that have pass through generations are examples of creativity. We should live our lives to the fullest as if there is no tomorrow.

Dear Alex,

Each and every day I use my imagination to motivate me. Whether I am gardening, golfing, painting, cooking or getting dressed my mind is given a new opportunity to be creative and resourceful. I use my imagination to peer into the future and visualize what the future might hold. Your imagination is an open door to endless possibilities and adventures. Alex, your imagination is unique to you and will evolve each year as you learn and experience life. Imagine That!

Imagination is a wonderful thing for all ages. It is a form of an exercise for the mind and is extremely important for the development of a child’s brain. It allows them to be creative, helps overcome boredom, explore and learn new things. Child/role play also allows the children to be a different place that brings happiness and allows them to express themselves. It can also help people cope with difficult and sad situations and one can express themselves through their imagination.

Without imagination we would not have everything we do today, history shows us how important inventions have been created through imagination and creativity which we now could not live without. Most successful people are those that imagined and had a vision whether it is art, technology, fashion, and the list is endless.

Dear Sahaj,
Imagination is a very important trait you have to have to be successful in life. It helps do many projects, classwork, lessons, and homework. Imagination opens your mind up to many other ideas in life. If you don’t apply imagination to everyday learning you will never think outside of the box or do anything creative and inspiring. So always remember to use imagination everyday even if you don’t want it will help in the future.

An important step in developing imagination is to allow ourselves to be creative.

How are you creative?
I am very creative. I can imagine across a broad range of subjects and then put those ideas on paper or produce a visual that represents those ideas that were in my head. I can decorate rooms by using many diffrent colors and textures. I can write a story about almost any subject matter. I can make up a song with just a few words. I can use my imagination at work to help so many different people. Because of my imagination, there are many answers to the same question coming from very different people.

Do you spend time with creative people?
Sometimes. I spend my time with people who are more concrete thinkers but as a group, they can be very creative. Unfortunately, my job does not leave too much space for creativity as a general rule. Creativity comes into play when I have to deal with individuals with unique problems that require practical solutions that they can carry out.

Do you play, laugh and use humor to enhance your life?
Absolutely!! Laughter and humor release hormones that make the brain feel relaxed and the body feel good. They are very useful in times of stressful situations. I think it’s important to have a playful attitude and a light mood whenever possible. These are some of the best coping tools and they are useful for both me and my patients.
Do you just let your mind wander?
Absolutely!! I love to do this but I daydream about practical things. I don’t spend a lot of time wandering about fairy tale type things anymore. During my childhood, the sky was the limit on my imagination. As I’ve grown and matured my mind wanders towards things that are very relaxing such as water and clouds. I also allow my mind to wander about the possible ways of helping other. There is so much room for imagination and creativity when it comes to this part of my life.

We all have imagination:)

Imagination is the part of our being that allows us to dream past the reality of what we are today. Whether it is a day-dream of ourselves in a fantasy world. A event of our creation, or allowing our mind travel unequaled with no boundaries. Enjoying the self pleasure of our vision. The inspiration to create or become someone or something that may one day change ourselves or life as we know it.

Using our imagination in many aspects of life in the days before tv and computers was commonplace.

Some of the best games played both indoors and out required no monetary expense but instead we just used our imaginations to create settings and games. For example playing with an empty box, making a fort out of couch pillows and listening to music and making a dance routine or in your case a jump rope routine.

We still use our imagination when we read in order picture the characters and settings in books.

My wish for you is to shut off the tv and computer and spend time everyday using your imagination.
